Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.

Why Retail Consulting

Retail is one of the largest global industries accounting for $20 trillion worldwide. The sector represents about 30% of the world’s GDP and employs billions of people throughout the globe. It’s at the front of new technology, being amongst the first industries to deploy the web, mobile devices and now things like artificial intelligence and machine learning.

For the less technically inclined, it offers just as much. In the product development space it’s about design, the trends, the fabric, the cut, the stitch and so forth. Retail is probably the most competitive industry in the world and as a result is constantly evolving and changing, providing a vibrant dynamic place to work.

As a consultant you can acquire skills that cross borders and open up opportunities in other countries. You will be at the edge of transformation, you will see and experience different and exciting retailer environments. You will see the guts of retail as well as the shiny shop fronts and websites. You will meet people from all walks of life and find you learn to speak and communicate in a common language, that of retail!
